In our fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life and lose sight of what truly matters. That's why it's so important to take a step back, slow down, and enjoy the journey. By doing so, we can connect with our inner selves, gain clarity on our goals and values, and find greater fulfillment in our lives.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed and stressed out, remember to take a deep breath and slow down. Give yourself permission to enjoy the scenery and reflect on where you're going and why. Life is a journey, and it's important to savor every moment along the way.

What is Unarthodox Element?
⠀
We truly believe that every person possesses their own identity code, their own “Unarthodox Element”. That unique element is your inner Creator, your individuality, your inner light that you bring into this world. It can be your gift, talent, passion, the trait of character, or all at once. Pretty much anything that makes you YOU.
⠀
By bringing this Unarthodox Element into the world, you are turning your life into an actual work of art. And that’s what our blog and community are here for - to accompany you on this exciting journey!
Cinematography is one of the most powerful forms of art. It can make us think, feel, contemplate, and even influence the course of our life.
⠀
“Do you know what your life purpose is? You’re lucky if you answered "yes" to this question. Unfortunately, the majority of people struggle with the problem of self-definition. The good news is that people have been exploring this issue throughout all of human history, and there are some studies that can really help you find yourself. The answer to the eternal riddle is creativity.”

“Our body is truly unique, just like the whole Universe. Allowing us to move, to live, to experience, to create, it comprises a fascinating biological machine with many crucial parts and features. One of them is the Vagus Nerve, which is largely responsible for our mental and emotional well-being. As it turns out, creative activities play an important role in stimulating the nerve and, thus, help us feel better. But why and how exactly? Let’s find out:”

We may not always realise it, but subconsciously we constantly experience the effects of beauty on us. On our preferences, choices, actions. After all, beauty is not merely a subjective thing, but a universal need of human beings. It is a value as important as truth, goodness, love, and friendship.
⠀
As humans we have more than just practical needs. Moral, spiritual needs play a crucial role for our wellbeing. As Plato said, beauty is the object of love. Something of higher order which transcends us above usual material experiences. That is exactly why we travel, visit museums, decorate our apartment, dress up, organise our desk… Beauty is like a visitor from another world that helps us find meaning, order, and balance in this chaotic world.
For already more that a month we’ve been keeping up with a wonderful tradition - WEEKLY CREATIVE TASK.
⠀
Each of them is supposed to get you out of the usual routine and fill your life with new emotions, memories, explorations. All of the creative tasks are fairly simple and doable by anybody. Consider them as little sparks that have the potential to improve your life substantially.
⠀
In this post we've collected all the creative tasks that we’ve done so far. If you try any of them, please do not hesitate to share your experience with us by the hashtag
“Today's realities require us to think creatively. It’s not just a fashionable word but actually one of the most important skills of the 21st century. The fast pace of life forces us to make quick and profitable decisions as well as to show problem-solving mastery, which is directly related to our ability to invent — in other words, creativity. This quality is highly appreciated by employers and is also important for our daily lives. Is it possible to develop it and how, if so?”

Frida Kahlo is considered one of Mexico's greatest artists. Suffering from a number of health issues from the very childhood, she found remedy in art. Painting became the way for her to express feelings and states of mind. It became the way for her to cope with hardships, both physical and emotional. The original intention to kill the time and alleviate the pain would eventually make Frida find her purpose in art.

“UE Stories” is a series of interviews with inspiring people who found their Unarthodox Element and have had enough courage to pursue it and share it with the world.

Scott Adams, the cartoonist who created Dilbert, once wrote in his blog:
⠀
“Everyone has at least a few areas in which they could be in the top 25% with some effort. In my case, I can draw better than most people, but I’m hardly an artist. And I’m not any funnier than the average standup comedian who never makes it big, but I’m funnier than most people. The magic is that few people can draw well and write jokes. It’s the combination of the two that makes what I do so rare. You make yourself rare by combining two or more “pretty goods” until no one else has your mix.”
⠀
As humans, we tend to have more than one passion or sphere of interest. Often we can hear that we need to choose only one if we really want to succeed. However, that surely isn’t always the case, just like Scott Adams pointed out.
⠀
What do you think about such an approach?
