[Now Roasting: Guatemala - Las Moritas 🇬🇹]
Las Moritas is the distinguished farm of Higinio and Aura Gómez. Positioned northeast of Guatemala City in the Sierra de las Minas, Las Moritas has been the source of some of our favorite coffees over the years. Though it's been some time since we've last featured Las Moritas on our single origin menu, we're delighted to share their coffee once again.
This lot is from an exceptional harvest of their yellow caturra, produced with the support of our friends at Los Volcanes Coffee and Beneficio La Esperanza. In a round, balanced cup, we're tasting brown sugar and molasses, ginger cookie, warm spice, pineapple, pear, and orange zest.
The farm's 56 hectares planted with coffee contain a mix of varieties prized for their very high quality. This lot's selection of yellow caturra is a less common phenotype of caturra with fruits that ripen to a sunny yellow. Although we see this variant less frequently than the more common red caturra, its flavor profile is similarly sweet and round, enhanced by a gentle but sparkling acidity that elevates the cup in an absolutely lovely way.

According to Mariah Carey, "it's time"- and we couldn't agree more! Whatever you're celebrating this holiday season, we're here to help make this the most wonderful time of the year with Miracle On North 6th Street.
Miracle On North 6th Street is inspired by the cozy and festive flavors of warm, spice-mulled wine. With subtle notes of sweet orange, honey, ginger, cinnamon, and Malbec, this special seasonal release makes a cheerful addition to any holiday gathering.
To build this year's Miracle, we took one of our favorite natural process coffees and blended it with a washed lot from a collection of farms in the same community. The result is a delightful presentation of beautiful fresh crop coffees all from the municipality of Marcala, Honduras: Finca San Francisco and Marcala Community.
Although Honduras has had a relatively recent start in its specialty coffee production, Marcala is already known to be a source of excellent quality, boasting the first protected "denomination of origin" in coffee. We're thrilled to showcase this wonderful region in this year's composition of Miracle.

[Now Roasting: Honduras - San Francisco 🇭🇳]
Roger Domínguez returns to our menu for a sixth year with another fantastic lot of natural process red bourbon from Finca San Francisco. This coffee is a stunner every single harvest with an unsurpassed intensity of delicious fruit flavor. An absolutely exceptional filter coffee, enjoy punchy and jammy notes of strawberry and raspberry compote, pomegranate, brown sugar, and rich chocolate.
Honduras produces quite a lot of coffee—ranking fifth globally and first among Central American countries—but has historically lacked the infrastructure and processing facilities necessary to meet its clear potential. In the last 20 years the country has made incredible progress in developing its specialty coffee sector thanks to the talent and ambition of producers like Roger.

[Now Roasting: Brazil - Frutado 🇧🇷] Rio Brilhante is a sprawling farm in Cerrado Mineiro, a high elevation savannah in the heart of Minas Gerais. The farm produces a diverse selection of coffees, and Frutado has been a steady favorite of ours—full bodied and sweet, calling to mind chocolate and red fruits 🍫 🍒 🍓
The farm was founded by Inácio Urban in the 1980s and today is managed in collaboration with Los Volcanes, our long time suppliers in Antigua Guatemala. Their approach is grounded in environmental and social responsibility, and we've been fascinated to see their work applied to a style of production that is so radically different from Guatemala's.
[Now Roasting: Mexico - Hermanos Luna 🇲🇽] Our first ever Oaxacan single origin comes from three brothers belonging to the producer group San Vicente Yogondoy. They each cultivate a variety called pluma hidalgo, a local heirloom descended from typica.
While Oaxaca is well known for its incredible cuisine and mezcal production, its coffee too is worthy of celebration.
This lot is comforting and approachable with notes of milk chocolate, orange zest, caramel, baking spice, and cashew butter elevated by red apple and white grape. 🍊🍫🍎

[Now Roasting: Ethiopia - Gora Kone 🇪🇹] Gora Kone sits in a river valley in the Nensebo district of West Arsi, serving over 700 local farmers. Most grow coffee on steep slopes under the canopy of native species like acacia, wanza, and enset, and deliver their coffee to stations like Gora Kone for processing.
A departure from the more delicate floral and citric qualities of Yirgachefe coffees (like Naga Singage), Gora Kone produces coffees more aligned with the Sidama flavor profile—plump, ripe fruit like late summer berries and juicy stone fruit.
Gora Kone is an excellent option for both filter and espresso preparations—link in bio to read more 🍒🍑🍓
[New Recipe: Vanilla Cold Brew Soda] This rich and smooth beverage has flavors of cold coffee with the creamy essence of natural vanilla. Lightly carbonated for a crisp, effervescent finish, each sip delivers a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. Ideal for a midday pick-me-up or a sophisticated alternative to traditional sodas.

[Now Roasting: Colombia - Aidé Garro Chiroso 🇨🇴 | Woman-Produced] Aidé and her husband, Pedro, cultivate 100% chiroso on their farm in the remote Antioquian town of Urrao. We've become enamored with this incredible heirloom variety—once thought to be a local mutation of caturra, but now believed to have a mysterious genetic link with Ethiopian landraces.
We were first introduced to Aidé in 2017 through our sourcing work for El Ramo and we're thrilled to offer her coffee on our single origin menu for a fifth time. It's a beautiful expression of the celebrated chiroso flavor profile—floral like gesha, but perhaps sweeter and rounder. This will shine in any brewing method, calling to mind watermelon, cherry, lime, jasmine, elderflower, and mango 🥭
Chiroso [cheer-oh-so] is a mysterious coffee variety specific to Antioquia, Colombia. Once known to us as "caturra chiroso," it was assumed to be a locally occurring mutation of caturra. But recent research suggests that it is not closely related to the other varieties commonly planted in the Americas, appearing instead to be genetically similar to Ethiopian landraces.
Chiroso comprises 100% of Block Party, which features some of the first lots we've tasted that were grown outside of the remote Antioquian town of Urrao. Stay tuned for some incredible microlots releasing soon that capture everything we love about this amazing variety.
Come celebrate the opening of .co NYC flagship at 99 Wooster. Explore the design studio, café offering fresh L'Imprimerie pastries and Partners Coffee on bar, gallery curated via , and more this Saturday from 12p-6p. See you there!
We’re eagerly counting down the days until Honduran microlots leave Marcala. As always we’ll be excited to put Las Flores and San Francisco back on our single origin menu... and this means we’ve even started thinking about Miracle On N. 6th Street. In the meantime, Roger’s farms are busy with important upkeep that happens between harvests: cleaning, pruning, stumping, and so on.

[Now Roasting: Rwanda - Karambi 🇷🇼] In the hills just east of Lake Kivu lies the Karambi Washing Station, a purchasing and processing hub at the service of over 700 small scale coffee farmers. With good soil, favorable rainfall, and nearly 100% red bourbon in cultivation, the surrounding district of Nyamasheke is well equipped to produce vibrant and remarkable coffees.
This is our fifth year buying coffee from Karambi and as always, we're enjoying its balanced acidity and layered sweetness. In the cup we're finding flavors of papaya, apricot, cranberry, orange zest, vanilla, and brown sugar 🍑🍊☕
