Sidney's Five

After nearly 3 years of Corn Dogs, Dirty Fundy’s, and Burgers, our chapter in the East Village is coming to a close. In true Sidney’s fashion we will not mourn, but celebrate our time with you all with one last hurrah! Our last service is officially Friday February 23rd, so let’s close it out with a bang. While we absolutely hate saying goodbye, every single person who walked in and hung out with us made us remember the reason why we opened up in the first place. Our community, our loyal patrons, our dedicated and truly one of a kind staff, old and new, you created such an environment that will be hard to let go of, but will forever be remembered. Be proud of that. To our Queens for sparkling up the place like no other, we’ll miss our Monday’s and Sunday’s ever so dearly. I want to see all of your faces (you know who you are!) next Friday and take a shot with all of us one last time. Until we see each other again! Xoxo

We are sooooo excited about this one! The fabulous and are bringing guest for a holiday bash! It's the first Haus of Shook Christmas show in a couple of years, so it's looking to be a wild one!

We are also partnering with for a winter clothing drive to provide winter clothing to unhoused and underhoused refugee and LGBTQ+ communities in the NYC area. Please bring any coats, sweaters, hoodies, scarves, gloves, or men's shoes for donation. The person who brings the most will win a $50 gift certificate to Sidney's!

Y’ALL. YOU DID IT! WE DID IT. Thanks to Abort The Court last week, we were able to donate over 2K to , and another 2K from our silent auction to various women’s organizations that aid in providing safe abortions, for everyone. That’s a whopping total of $4093. We at Sidney’s knows it takes a village to make anything worth happening, happen. And we are so grateful to you who donated to this cause, whether it was through your own artwork, your own businesses, crafts and trades, or by simply being present. It was an honor to put this together with our staff members, and be supported by our neighbors, near and far. We know the fight for basic human rights is far from over- we have only just begun. But even as we go back to our “regularly scheduled programming”, we are cognizant of the issues around us. The world may very well be a dumpster fire right now- but we will keep fighting!! Even the smallest ripples will eventually create waves. ❤️

Please join us on Tuesday July 11th in solidarity to fight against these injustices. 30% of all food and beverage sales for the evening will go towards this staff’s choosing of one of many women’s organizations aiding to keep abortions safe. Throughout the course of this week, we will be showcasing artwork, woodwork, and jewelry made by our talented friends to be auctioned off on the evening of the event. 100% of those proceeds will go towards a women’s organization of the winning bidder’s choosing.
