I’ve had people ask questions and make excuses for their spouses continuous flaws and recklessness which I find cute but s!lly. Now I stumbled on a writeup that perfectly depicts what I’ve always known the journey of marriage to be.

And this goes for husbands and wives alike. Marriage was ordained by God,it should be enjoyed. If you marry for the sake of it then you deny yourself the enjoyment that comes with marriage. Attraction should be the main thing to look out for in marriage not love bcos who you love just may not love you that ideology of you grow to love your spouse is a lie! Sexual attraction is paramount,love doesn’t sustain a marriage. We all fall out of love at a point in our marriages. Suffering and enduring in marriage doesn’t depict love,many times there’s no other home to return to so we begin to suffer in an institution that was meant to be enjoyed. Then we begin to make excuses for why we need to endure in an institution that gives us liberty to be self sufficient. Marriage isn’t a prize neither is suffering and enduring…..
