Hi friends! Starting Thursday, November 9, Hudson Park will be temporarily closing for emergency building repairs. We expect to reopen in early December. While we are closed, your reserves can be picked up at Jefferson Market Library.

Needle artist Kevin Lustik returns to the Hudson Park Library, exhibiting his humorous and thought-provoking stitchery for the month of November. Inspired by refrigerator magnetic poetry, we celebrated the last days of Poetry Month by creating some life-sized poems with a 1st/ 2nd grade class!
Please note that due to inclement weather, all locations will close at 5 PM today, Friday, January 28, and will remain closed on Saturday, January 29. Grab some books and get cozy!

We're really excited about the new exhibit in our gallery: Nick Golebiewski -- Manhattan. Downtown NYPL Watercolor Paintings, Neighborhood Storefronts and Other Works on Paper. Attention parents! Does your little one love to see themselves in books? Come make a book using photos on your phone while learning fun, easy ways to encourage early literacy at home. We will be making colorful flap books, with photos hiding underneath! The book is best read with children ages 1-4.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide childcare, so this is an adult only event. But we will provide pizza! Registration is required -- sign up here!
