To celebrate Dad this Father’s Day, Dads ride free all day on June 15th!

Bring your children and enjoy a beautiful ride through Central Park or venture to Brooklyn and Bike the Brooklyn Bridge. There’s a thousand ways to have fun in NYC and Bike and Roll is happy to be a part of your Father’s Day!

This weekend's "Learn to Bike" event was especially meaningful for us at NYC DADS because it was the first one attended by Samuel, son of Citywide Fatherhood Services Coordinator Alan S. Farrell. Memorable moments, indeed!

Thanks to all the dads and families who came out this weekend for another great "Learn to Bike" session with our friends from Bike New York. So many first-time riders! It was a thrill to see such happy and determined faces.

HRA’s Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) plays a key role in ensuring that noncustodial parents (NCPs) provide financial support for their children and serves as a strong anti-poverty program. We would like to invite organizations that work with children and families throughout the five boroughs to attend information sessions in the next few weeks. On June 8th, NYC DADS is hosting a “learn to bike” event at PS 180 on 120th street in Manhattan. We’re partnering with Bike New York, which provides great teachers, and we supply all the bikes and helmets (although kids can bring their own, if they’d like).

We hope dads are there with their kids, but it’s not only for dads; uncles, friends, moms, and all are welcome to take part, helping children achieve this important milestone!
