May Allah, the Forgiving and Merciful, accept the sincerity of our prayers, showering us with His mercy and forgiveness for any shortcomings. May our hearts be purified, and may our actions align with the teachings of Islam. Ameen.

Please be informed that the protest originally scheduled for last Friday had to be postponed due to inclement weather. The new date for the protest is this Sunday at 1:30 PM in front of Liberty Plaza in Ozone Park, right in front of the laundromat. We encourage everyone to bring flags and signs as we stand together in support of Palestine.

O Allah,
Grant Jannah to the departed souls of Palestine and provide comfort and healing to those who are in hospitals. Ease their suffering and bring peace to their land. Ameen.

May Allah, the Most Merciful, grant the deceased Jannah (Paradise) and forgive their sins. May their soul find eternal peace and happiness in the afterlife. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Please accept our deepest condolences.

We pray that Allah grants the bereaved family the strength and patience to endure this difficult time, and may Allah forgive the sins of the departed soul. Ameen.

The one who attends a funeral until the prayer is offered will earn one qirat, and the one who accompanies it until burial will earn two qirats. Someone asked, “What are the two qirats?” He replied, Like two great mountains meaning of reward.

Then which of the Favors of your Lord, will you doubt?

Never lose hope,For Allah mercy knows no bounds. No matter how many mistakes you’ve made, remember that Allah is the Forgiving and the Merciful. Seek His forgiveness with sincerity, and you will find a path to redemption and inner peace. Your past does not define your future; it’s the sincerity of your repentance and your trust in His mercy that matter most.

Just as a sunset gives way to night, death is a transition to the next phase. In this analogy, believers find hope in the promise of a new dawn the eternal Hereafter where the rewards of a righteous life shine brightly.

May Allah, the Most Merciful and Compassionate, welcome Helal Ahmed’s Mother into the eternal gardens of Jannah. May their soul find peace and tranquility in the embrace of divine mercy. May their good deeds and kind heart be a testament to a life well-lived, and may their memory continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know them. May Allah grant comfort and strength to their family and friends during this time of sorrow. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

Upon hearing this supplication, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) confirms that the man has invoked Allah by His Greatest Name. This indicates that when someone supplicates using the attributes mentioned in this prayer, Allah responds to their request and grants their prayers.

It is essential to understand that invoking Allah by His Greatest Name is a special act of devotion, and Muslims hold it in high regard while seeking Allah’s guidance, mercy, and blessings.

As we welcome the new Islamic year, we should take the time to reflect on ourselves and how we can make this year better than the last. One of the best opportunities to get a fresh start is by fasting the day of Ashura. Ashura literally means ‘the tenth’ and refers to the 10th day of Muharram, the first month in the Islamic calendar year. It is a day that our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fasted and encouraged us to fast as well. He ﷺ tells us that fasting on this day forgives our sins from the previous year! What better way to get started on a clean slate?

Qurbani means sacrifice. Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter an animal – a goat, sheep, cow or camel – to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of God.

At least one third of the meat from the animal must go to poor or vulnerable people. Traditionally, a Muslim would keep one third of the meat for their family and give the final third to their neighbours.

Takbeer Tashreeq is a specific Dhikr performed during the Eid period.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ وَاَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god except Allah, And Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, for Allah is all praise. (Fath al-Qadeer).

The above Dhikr is to be recited after the Fard prayer (Fard Rakahs) for a total of 23 prayers. Starting with Fajr prayer on the day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) and continuing until Asr prayer on the 13th of Dhul Hijjah

"The best supplication is the supplication on the day of Arafat." - Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

May Allah accept our fast and forgive our previous year and upcoming years sins, and may our good deeds be accepted on this blessed day of Arafaah.

العَمَلُ في أيَّامٍ أفْضَلَ منها في هذه، قالوا: ولا الجِهادُ؟ قالَ: ولا الجِهادُ، إلَّا رَجُلٌ خَرَجَ يُخاطِرُ بنَفْسِه ومالِه، فلَمْ يَرْجِعْ بشَيءٍ

“No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Zulhijjah)." Then, some companions of the Prophet said, "Not even Jihad?" He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who risks himself and his property (for Allah's sake) and does not bring anything back.”

(Sahih Al-Bukhari)

May Allah bless us during the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah and accept our good deeds. May He grant us the opportunity to perform Hajj and Umrah and may He bless us with His mercy and forgiveness. Ameen.
