Chanie 👰 I really love this picture. I love the softness of the background and how the lipstick and colorful bouquet add a bright pop of color. First we tried a softer and lighter pink lipstick but it didn’t match Chanies outgoing and fun personality, And this change was perfect!

*I Love when clients send me pictures! Thank you Shira!*- Before I start your makeup, I ask you a lot of questions (besides my brides whom I meet before) such as what style of makeup do you like? What will you be wearing? Do you want to match your dress? Is there an accent color in your dress that you want to bring out? What color accessories will you be wearing? How are you styling your hair? Etc etc.. And while I am asking you this, as I hear your responses, I am creating a vision in my head of your whole look. I love seeing the final look in actual pictures, it just gives me a sense of victory! Clients put so much time & work into their look, and its just an honor for me to be a part of it.

Shulamis ✨Outdoor summer weddings are so beautiful, but the heat is a big factor to keep in mind! The heat & humidity can melt the makeup and the sweat can transfer it everywhere but when you take the right steps and use the right products, it’s easier to control. *Profile pic change* I feel like I evolved and grew so much over the years, personally and as an artist, that I did not connect with my old profile picture anymore (of my younger self In which I was wearing a lot of makeup!) So It was time to change it!
This is more me now. Now I appreciate a softer and more natural look and with the right skills and products this can be achieved by anyone! & is what I believe!

Debbie 💥 💥 One of my cancelled weddings due to Covid-19 sadly was of Debbies son, in Miami. This look was done for her sons engagement party in NY, when Corona virus wasn’t even in the picture. I always knew I was going to be a makeup artist, since I was a little girl I was mesmerized with makeup, I’d occasionally sneak into my mom’s bathroom to choose one of her lipsticks to put on. I loved how it made my eyes pop!!
When I was in high school, I’d spend my lunch breaks at the drugstore just looking at makeup, trying on, touching and testing. I’d spend hours there!
When I was 14 I started wearing minimal makeup on Shabbos, (yeah I’m lucky my mom allowed me to). Makeup made me feel sooo good and beautiful and confident. And that was a feeling I wanted others to feel!
At 19 after coming back from my year studying in Israel I went to Makeup school in Argentina. My teacher was amazed at my skills and she told me she knew I’d do well. I started working with friends and family In Argentina and thank G-d it only went up from there.
When I moved to NY, I was worried about getting my name out, specially since there were already many makeup artists working in my area, but people slowly started hiring me and as the years went by my skills got better and better. (And my kit got bigger and bigger 😊) I never stopped learning, and to this day, I’m still learning.
I thank G-d and my clients who give me the opportunity to do what I love, and believe in me. I pride myself in truly understanding my clients wants and needs, their personality and style and creating a look that suits them.
Makeup is not one look fits all- each one of my clients is unique, and working on their faces to enhance their beauty is such an honor for me.
The feeling they get after sitting on my makeup chair and seeing the final look is what I live for!
I am feeling grateful and I cannot wait to see what 2020 will bring.
