Flowing out from the pump track at AMANI House, their performance centre in Iten, Kenya, onto the trails of Girona, the dirt roads of Kansas and the awesomeness of the Maasai Mara. This squad of bike racers say timu moja – Swahili for one team. It is a mantra that live, breathe and ride with. They want to push each other and East African bike racing to the highest level. These athletes know no bounds.

Timu moja is Swahili for ‘one team’. It is a phrase the late Sule Kangangi, co-founder and captain of , developed in the very early days. A collective mantra representing riders of all genders from the East African countries who make up Team AMANI. Consisting of athletes from Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia, the AMANI team roster this season is:

know no bounds, so we created designs to honour their ambition. Inspired by the wildlife of East Africa, the process used to create these jerseys mirrored that of the hand-painted matatus of Nairobi, a creative approach that broke the mould of our traditional design process.

As a week-long celebration of our partnership with this pioneering team we will launch four designs over four days, starting with RCC early access to the AMANI Pro Team Aero Jersey on Monday.

30 years on since Marco Pantani announced himself to the world on the Passo del Mortirolo and 25 years since his most audacious exploit on Monte Oropa, we present a modern reworking of our classic Pantani Jersey and bandana. Honouring The Pirate’s life and career in the same year as Rapha’s 20th birthday, the design features hallmarks and tributes to one of the sport’s greatest icons.

To launch our limited edition Pantani Collector’s set, we sent two riders to the Dolomites and the Passo del Mortirolo in memory of Pantani’s dizzying exploits.

A quarter-of-a-century on from Marco Pantani’s most promethean exploit on stage 15 of the 1999 Giro d’Italia, award-winning sports writer Herbie Sykes flashes back to recall how Il Pirata captivated a nation during cycling’s most explosive era. The scene for stage two of this year’s race, Pantani’s blistering ride over Monte Oropa in ‘99 was his last great act: Dropping his chain, he proceeded to perform one of the sport’s greatest counter-attacks.

The Gazzetta Gilet is a modern reworking of an iconic Rapha design from 2008. Like the original, it honours the pink sports newspaper that founded Il Giro, a design inspired by resourceful riders using copies of La Gazzetta to stuff into the front of their jerseys for insulation on mountain descents.

As the organisers of the Tour did with their maillot jaune, La Gazzetta imbued its pink pages upon the Giro leader’s jersey in 1931. These flamboyant yarns have since been fought over by riders from across the globe. The allure of pink is very much woven into the fabric of Rapha too. Since 2004 it has been part of Rapha’s own defining aesthetic and for that – and the great race itself – we have La Gazzetta to thank.

Rapha 20 Editions: modern reworkings celebrating two decades of performance, progress and panache.

Paying homage to the pink pages of Italy’s greatest sports paper, and founder of the Giro d’Italia, the Gazzetta Gilet is a modern reworking of an iconic design from 2008. It features Rapha’s Gazzetta print – imitating the publication’s classic typeset headlines and copy.

Alongside announcing all the important results and stories of the week, this iconic publication found itself being put to other uses by resourceful riders, namely being stuffed up a jersey for emergency insulation on mountain descents.

The next of our Rapha 20 Editions – products celebrating two decades of performance, progress and panache – the Gazzetta Gilet is a modern reworking of an iconic design from 2008. Like the original, it honours one of the great institutions of road cycling – the pink sports newspaper that founded the Giro d’Italia.

Non rosa, non problema for EF Pro Cycling, who once again take to the roads of Italy in a special switch-out kit design to avoid clashing with the Maglia Rosa.

Available now in limited quantities for RCC members, with more stock released tomorrow, the 2024 edition features a Pro Team Training Jersey with the same livery as EF’s team issue jersey and a Pro Team Aero Jersey with a minimal version of the design for a more streamlined aesthetic.

Since 2020 Rapha & EF Pro Cycling have taken to the stage at the Giro d’Italia in a switch-out kit design, to prevent a clash with the Maglia Rosa. Our ode to the last great madness of cycling, A Day in Hell offers a small dose of what the professionals experience on the cobbles of Northern France. As cycling’s Holy Week moves from Flanders to its finale in France, L’Enfer du Nord looms large with the world’s best preparing for bike racing’s most fearsome cobbles. A wet start to spring in Europe has turned the route to Roubaix into a mud-fest, adding an additional layer of difficulty to what is arguably the sport’s toughest one-day event.

All eyes are on .cannondale Cannondale’s Alison Jackson, the reigning champion, to see if she can cast some magic once more. One thing we know from previous editions, anything can happen in Hell.
