Today was a big day, not just for America, but for lots of cats/kittens in our care!
We spayed and neutered 9 cats/kittens, and finished off their vaccines and testing too!

*URGENT MEDICAL FOSTER needed for TRUDY, a very sweet cat at Hempstead Shelter*
She has ulcers that are not healing and she should not be in the shelter in such condition!
We need to get her out and into a great foster in Nassau County or Eastern Queens so she can be near our vet.

Due to a population crisis, we are suspending dog surrenders at all locations until further notice. We care about our community and understand the challenges our clients face. We are actively seeking solutions to this issue and hope to open again soon.
While we cannot accept dog surrenders, ACC can support you in the following ways:
Veterinary Care
Behavior Training or Counseling
Pet Food and Supplies
Assistance with Housing Issues
To utilize any of the above resources, please email [email protected].
If you have exhausted all possible options and still need to surrender your dog, please call us at (212) 788-4000.

This bonded pair of 11 years young brothers has it all...
They are fun, they are snuggly, they are sweet...
What they don't have is a a forever home, and that's where you come in...
And here is WE**IE, the sweetest most gentle boy we know.
STREAKER and WE**IE are 11 years young.
They must be adopted together.
Fenced yard required as they both LOVE running and sniffing freely so much!

Neuter Day for our newest little boys SIMBA the shih poo and JUNIOR the yorkie!
They both had dentals and microchips implanted too.
