Looking back, if we had to sum up this amazing journey with one dish, it’d definitely have to be our Madame Pho - short rib pho. That’s why we picked it for our cover.

When Jimmy and Yen took a shot in the dark and gambled on their dream to bring elevated but approachable home-style Vietnamese food to the New York City seven years ago, they couldn’t have imagined that this is what Madame Vo would blossom into - an established part of the East Village and part of the modern day Vietnamese culinary lexicon.

And we know none of this would be possible without the love and support of every single person that has helped us along the way. We want to thank our families, staff, friends, and of course all our loyal patrons from all over the world!
