TDC70 is now open for entries! Take a look at last year's winner, TOKY from St. Louis, for their work with Goshen Coffee Roasters. With two decades of expertly roasted coffee under their belt, Goshen had a devoted following and promising growth potential. However, they needed a visual identity that would resonate with their audience and a brand concept to inspire it.
To help Goshen Coffee Roasters stand out on highly competitive retail shelves and attract more cafe visitors, TOKY injected a surprising depth of meaning into the brand name. "Goshen" was transformed into a symbolic fusion of "Good S**t Energy," serving as a guiding light for the brand's unapologetically positive vibe
Let's take a moment to applaud last year's winner, Brinda Desai | Bangalore, who wowed us with "36 Days of Type" in the lettering category.
Brinda's submission for "36 Days of Type 2022" was a captivating exploration of experimental visual forms and dynamic motion typography. Even as a C4D beginner, she maintained consistency in executing simple yet impactful concepts. Some letterforms drew inspiration from anatomy and construction (such as 'B' and 'F'), while others were context-driven (like 'C' for Clinical and '6' denoting a timer).
This project blended various palettes, styles, and effects seamlessly to deliver a playful and engaging A-Z, 0-9 set. Congratulations to Brinda Desai on her outstanding work, and we look forward to discovering more creative brilliance in TDC 70!
