Pattern: This was pieced with no real pattern, but inspired by the Yellowstone quilt that Beth Dutton uses.
Here is what Brand Ambassador, Autumn Shatto had to say about her experience working with these fabrics: "Who doesn't love crisp blues and Christmas-inspired fabrics?? This collection featured so many amazing prints, from the dark blue with snowflake embellishments to the soft taupe background with adorable deer peeking around snow-capped trees - I loved everything about this collection. I knew that I wanted to really feature the vibrancy of these colors, but also find perfect blenders that would help showcase the overall look of this "Cold Winter Morning" quilt. I wanted to make something that would pair well with that first snow day.. when you grab a quilt, sip on a cup of coffee, and stare out your window at the winter wonderland that has appeared. This collection truly embraces all of the serenity of the season. I pulled some fabrics from the Morning Mist VII (Blank Quilting Co), Just Color (Studio E), and Allure 108" (Blank Quilting Co) to pair with the blues and taupes from this collection. The solid used was from Kona Cotton in the color Mushroom (Which really made the colors POP). The backing fabric is from the new Tula Pink Fairy Flakes wideback collection from Freespirit Fabrics and it was PERFECT! Overall, this is likely to be a quilt that my family will fight over this Christmas haha!"

Here is what Brand Ambassador, Elaina Sabado had to say about her experience working with these fabrics: "I cut the top and bottom pieces of the original panel which are really cool but had plans for on another project. Then I added an extra fabric piece at the base of the tree trunk to lengthen the cut-down panel, strips onto the top and bottom, and then framed out all four sides to fit the cut dimensions called for in the pattern for the center. The rest of the cutting and sewing went quickly and easily. Blender fabrics are Intermix by Satin Moon Designs for Blank Quilting. Pieced with Aurifil 50wt."

In the fall of 2010, Jaftex Corp., purchased Fabric Editions, Inc. which sells pre-cuts to the chain stores. Fabric Editions, Inc also had a new brand that they had developed for selling bolts of fabric into the independent market called Studio E Fabrics. This independent brand was moved to the New York office with the other independent line, Henry Glass Fabrics, and Scott Fortunoff was given this company to manage and build entirely on his own.
When Jaftex acquired Blank Quilting Corp, it was a natural conclusion to take the Blank sales force and also give them StudioEFabrics to sell. This group of sales professionals is largely comprised of talented quilters, sewers, national instructors, authors, bloggers and pattern writers--a team of fabric aficionados that shares your passion for the quilting and sewing industry. We think this is a great asset--for us and for you, our valued customers!
Our sales representatives offer their expertise by partnering with shop owners, designers and consumers in the fabric selection process.
