Congrats to Danny and all involved for taking home the The Grand Prix award at the Japan Indies Film Festival.

It has been an honor and a lot of fun to be involved.

More 35mm fun with extreme lighting and a low speed film. No one pictured was in a dark/all black environment. Shooting low speed/high aperture with 100 iso and absurdly bright lights

The latest episode of features yours truly discussing the Hotel Chelsea, Okie origins, punk rock lore, New York history…plugging my upcoming show w/ t in at … blue-cheese stuffed olive dirty martinis at … the new Chelsea doc … and that’s just what I remember at the moment. (And through the magic of podscatting, we were able to bypass less interesting/proud chapters of/in my life…! Perfect!

It was somewhat a “This Is Your Life” discussion that I am usually not so comfortable with but John (and wine) made it fun and the Chelsea as a catalyst surely helped as well.

Long day- but not a bad one.
Worked at the hotel then over to record a conversation w/ John Coyle for his wonderful podcast that felt a bit like a fun “this is your life” trip (never knew that that was a possibility). Twas a great time with fine wine and company.
