PRAYER POINTS
1. Prayer for the hostages and their families: "Behold, the Lord's hand is not so short that it cannot save; nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear." (Isaiah 59:1)
2. Prayer for the Israeli soldiers (IDF): "Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:4)
3. Prayer for the government and leaders of Israel: "First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity." (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
4. Prayer for the safety of Israeli and Palestinian citizens: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1)
5. Prayer for the safety of the Jewish community around the world against acts of antisemitism: "The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." (Psalm 9:9)
