Happy summer, everyone! Keeping it cool with iced coffee and iced lattes over here during this especially hot week. Just wanted to say hello! How’s everyone doing?

Welcoming May and the spring with extended hours, now open til 6PM daily!

Last time we posted there was snow on the ground! bringing the spring with an iced coffee.

This is Queens-grown and harvested coffee, soon we’ll have enough to roast! These beans came from Hawaiian seedlings that we’ve been raising since we opened the coffee shop about 6 years ago. Since they’ve matured, every year we’ve been able to harvest just a little more. Hoping to roast it and brew it up at the shop when we have a little more and when things go back to being more social!

Just taking a mid-week moment (yes, it’s only Tuesday) to remember some of the more magical times over the past six weeks or so; like when that red-tailed hawk flew into the shop and an amazing nurse on her way to Mt Sinai had to help Dennis safely shoo it out the door.
And thanks to Eric, one of our regulars who happened to be walking by at that moment, we have this great picture!
