The SBA has exciting news!!!! We secured five (5) hotel rooms at the New York Marriott Downtown, the venue of the Barristers’ Ball, at a discounted rate for the night of the event! This means you & your friends can check into the room at 4:00 pm, four hours before the event starts. You can get ready, relax, and know you are only an elevator ride away from an amazing evening.
    The only thing better than getting ready at the place of the event is getting unready there! After an incredible night of dancing, laughing, partying, and fun, you can hop in the elevator and go to your room! No subways, no buses, no expensive Uber rides, no hailing taxis, and absolutely no, "it's only a ten-minute walk!" You can enjoy the night knowing all your valuables are locked in a room, and you can leave the party easily, whenever you'd like!

Purchase an NYLS Student Ticket before Sunday, April 2nd @ 9:00 AM EST.
THAT'S IT!

HOW TO KNOW IF YOU WON:
Sunday, April 2nd at 10:00 AM, the SBA Instagram will go Live to stream the drawings. There will be five "spins." Each spin will determine a  winner.
The SBA will contact the five winners. The winners must confirm they will purchase the room for the discounted rate by 2:59 PM that Sunday.
In the event a winner does not want the discounted room/ does not confirm in time, the SBA will go Live again at 3:00 PM and redraw.
If the same thing happens again, there will be a final redraw at 6:00 PM.

As the semester wraps up, let’s give children in need a gift to unwrap! NYLS is hosting a toy drive & donations will go to the New York City Family Justice Center in Manhattan. The last day to donate is Wednesday, December 14th. If you are not going to be on campus but would like to participate, you can order a gift online and have it delivered to

SBA HALLOWEEN CANDY JAR GUESSING CONTEST

Join the SBA in a Halloween Candy Jar Guessing Contest! Stop by the SBA's table in the 5th floor Cafeteria TODAY and TOMORROW from 12:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guess the correct number and win a jar of candy! $1 per guess!

We had a wonderful time tonight representing the Student Bar Association at the New York Law School Alumni Celebration. It was great to meet so many generations of amazing alums!

TIME TO GET SPOOKY!! The SBA is excited to announce we will be hosting a Halloween Candy Jar Guessing Contest on Wednesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 27th from 12:45pm-2pm. There will be three jars filled with all different types of candy: some for chocolate lovers, some for gummy lovers, and some for the traditional candy corn lovers!! Come join us on the 5th floor and bring $1 to enter your best guesses!! Winner gets to keep the candy!!!! 🎃👻🦇🍫🍬🧛🏼‍♂️🧙🏽‍♀️🧝🏻‍♀️🦸🏿
