Wow what a catch 🎣🎣
Ramiro and his group put together a nice cooler of mix fish 🎣 some Scup, Blues, Weaks, Seabass, and even a spot or two 🎣🎣 but he had one more catch he was looking for 😘 he was with his girlfriend and wanted to reel her in !!
So on the way home he ask Mingo to see if the Captain would stop at the Light House so he could pop the question 💎 we’ll she said yes!!

We had a stellar day on the Western Sound lots of quality fish 🎣 scup , seabass, weakfish, and even a fluke or too and the croakers/spots were plentiful as well 🎣🎣 there were times the dog fish and sea robins thought they were the targeted species 😱but the kids had fun reeling em in and touching the shark skin 🎣
Waiting for the Photo Matt to send the pic’s over but it may be past my bedtime 💤 the weekend schedule is still the same ! 8am fishing daily,

Afternoon everyone, a little bit of sad news one of our past deckhands has passed,
Santo Soto started sailing with us many years ago as a Saturday Regular fishing with his son and daughter for blues and night time st*****rs 🎣 Later on he became a friend and helped during spring clean up , parking cars , selling ice and deckhand tying rigs helping out the customers 😁 thoughts “n” prayers to his family 🇵🇷🇺🇸🇵🇷🇺🇸
They tell me someone is trying to sell RIPTIDE III merchandise on line , the only thing we have for sale are T shirts and they’re only available in person on the boat . Please don’t get scammed 😱
We’re sailing everyday at 8am for porgies, seabass , weakfish 🎣
We also have a Sunday boat ride to the Statue of Liberty 🗽09/01/24

Nice day on the high sea’s of the western sound 🎣 just a steady pick of scup, spots and even a few weakfish 🎣🎣🎣
Pool winner was regular Alex with a 24” weakfish, Marcus thought it would be nice to fill his mom’s freezer with some fish before he started kindergarten 🎣 postman Richard had a fun filled day as well🎣
Surviver #46 contestants Tevin and PJ tallied a nice bucket of fish as well 🎣

Well it was a one of the most unique days I’ve had in quite a while!!
I have had a multitude of different kinds of celebrations on boats since I’ve had my Capt license in 1977 back then the Green buoys were Black but I digress!!
We had a pop up wedding just 10-15 family members, I told the groom I could preform the wedding but it would only last as long as the fishing he was sold ! But the Bride would have no part of it , she said she bought her own Padre but thank me anyway !!
On the fishing front it was very good many quality scup and a by catch of spots / crokers , kingfish , fluke, and Weaks as well 🎣
Jimmy cropped the pool today with a gigantic scup 🎣🎣
We’ll be sailing every day 8am so come on by and give us a try 🎣

Well I think the pendulum is starting to swing the other way fishing continues to be good with many quality size fish in the mix and a summer variety spots/crokers , seabass, fluke, kingfish as well🎣🎣
Quite a few limits too . Adrian edged out Millie for the pool with a nice size seabass 🎣
Dog fish always intriguing to the young anglers 🎣 we were even able to get them to scale a couple fish , next week we’ll start them on filets 😉
