Is it lonely being an intercessor? **ignore my accent **
It can be but finding the right community can call us out of familiar places to places where there is no longer need to compete with each other. Where you can share your unique gift and experience with otherscommon human brokenness without judgement. Wheew, it’s real out here without a tribe and being displaced because if things we learnt culturally but not biblically.
As an intercessor to a next, we are unlearning and we are finding back our post🫶🏾✌🏾

According to Webster dictionary, displacement means to move or to shift from the ordinary or proper place. This becomes a telling definition when we realize the extent to which we are preoccupied with adapting ourselves to the prevalent norms and values of our milieu.
The Gospels confront us with this persistent voice inviting us to move from where it is comfortable, from where we want it stay, from where we feel at home.
See, Jesus was the most displaced human being. He was rejected by all and felt abandoned by God. This, Jesus’ displacement began with his birth in Bethlehem, find its fullest expression in his death on a cross outside the walls of Jerusalem. Jesus Christ is the displaced Lord in whom God’s compassion becomes flesh. In him, we see a life of displacement living to the fullest.

I’ve gotten another push to commit myself to praying for this generation and the generations to come. We are the future. They are the future. All will know Jesus Christ is Lord through this ministry and through the life we live. Let’s live right saints.

✨I know y’all up cooking !!! Happy Thanksgiving family! Today, I’m thankful for being in my right mind. Im thankful for health. Im thankful for all the battles that I thought I wouldn’t survived but have successfully crossed over. I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for my friends. I’m thankful for my supporters and motivators. I’m thankful for life! I’m thankful for YOU. Sometimes, we get carried away with the excitement of all the delicious dishes but take a moment today and reflect on all the things that could’ve happened but God! Reflect on the things you prayed for but is now experiencing and living it. Reflect on the things you are praying for with faith that your time is coming!
Enjoy this day with your loved ones and eat some good food. For those who are grieving this holiday, you’re in my prayers.

“IT WAS NECESSARY”

Another rough week. I hope you all are praying for me 😩 Nonetheless, I want to share something with you. Earlier this week, I searched for my work keys and couldn't find them. I looked everywhere in the house, in the car, and at my job, but nothing. I was worried that one of my kids found it (FYI, that's not a good thing). I didn't sleep well that night because of that particular concern. While sleeping, I dreamt that the keys were in the car and was happy I found them. I immediately woke up and was disappointed that it wasn't real. My friend said, "are you sure they are not in the car as you dreamt?" I told her I had searched for it again but couldn't find it. Disappointment hit me then. I thought, "why would God let me dream this, and it's not there."
I went to search my car again and nothing. I contacted my co-workers, and no one saw it. Not finding the keys ruined my day because I couldn't focus on anything but on where my keys could've been. While driving to work, I heard my friend's voice again, "Are you sure they are not in the car?" I pulled up in my work parking lot and started the search again. I finally heard a sound. I FOUND THE KEY. I immediately yelled, "God is not a liar. God is not a liar". I even got a cut, lol, but I'm good.
I share this to say some of you might have thought your dream would never come through. You might feel like a failure. You may have believed God lied to you but could it be that you needed to look again? I went looking for the keys, already disappointed. Until I became more desperate, that's when I found the keys. For your dream to manifest in your life, it requires desperation. You might feel pain along the journey, but if you're desperate enough, you will find what you're looking for behind everything that purposely blocked you.
TESTIMONY ALERT!
✨This week has been crazy with moving, work and school so I haven’t gotten the chance to process this big move and change I made in my life. Short story, I’ve been sharing with people for 8 years. Living with friends, family and having room mates. I have stories to tell!!!! I’ve experienced so much when it comes to sharing with people. I’ve experienced many break down. But this by far was the most mentally exhausting experience. I’ve cried many tears. I’ve cursed God several times. Life hit me real hard y’all😩😩 until I couldn’t anymore. I’m currently in a healing season of my life and the environment was taking me backwards instead of forward. I was willing my do anything to get out. Fast forward to my last mental breakdown, I had a anxiety attack I never ever experienced in my life that scarred me. This is what I needed to walk away ( now I know why it had to happen). I looked and drove around searching. One week later, I found somewhere but it wasn’t this initially spot but it open for a more fitted one. Someone else was approved for this apartment but didn’t put down any payment. Fast forward to looking at the apartment, got an application, next day ran background check.. 15 minutes later I was approved. Next day, I pay down on the apartment. Fast forward to two weeks, I moved out and I’ve never been at peace like I’ve been for one week now!!! It makes me tear up in joy! I still can’t believe how swiftly God moves WHEN WE ARE READY.
I share this to encourage someone that you might be at and in a place of discomfort but once YOU’RE READY you will realize that the path has been cleared all this time.
✨In this season, it’s time to let go of the spirit of comparison and be accepted in your own calling. Comparison is a killer to the soul. As you look at this video, you will see multiple trees with different colors. It doesn’t mean they aren’t all trees. They are just in a different time frame of changing with the season. In other words stop comparing your gifts, calling, purpose and ministry with other people. Your gift, calling, purpose and ministry is assigned to a specific group of people. Stay the course!
God has such a sense of humor. He will use the very person who disgrace you to bless you. Let that rest in your spirit.
Wheeew🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️💨💨💨 because I’ve experienced it.
I went to the theatre for my self care this week and after waiting 20 mins we were told that we have to get out because a family bought out the entire theatre. It was a family of 4 that purchased the whole theatre room. If I should be honest, I was livid and annoyed. When we got to the new theatre room it was a bigger room and much bigger screen. I share this is say sometime God will disappoint you to give you an update of what you wanted.
Blessings everyone, I want to share this with you. I’m currently moving and if you have ever moved in your life you know this is the most annoying journey🥴. I’ve already packed up stuff, labeled and I’m ready to go. After a week, I notice I simply have too much stuff. Part of moving is knowing when to let go of things you no longer need and what’s not necessary for your next. Here I am, giving away a lot of items that I haven’t used in a year. Was it hard? Yes. It’s only hard when you have become attach to the old with unknowing fear of the next. I’ll let this sit here.
We are in a season where there is a lot of rain and not much sunlight. Where there is a lot of wind and not much heat. This doesn’t mean it’s a punishment, it simple mean there is a shifting making room for what is to come. I’ll let you rest in this.
You may feel like you’re going in circles, but could it be that God is redirecting you to where you need to be? Trust the process.
As you go to bed, cover your loved ones in prayer. I cancel untimely death in Jesus name. Everything attached to you is covered under the blood.

About The Founder
Angelica Codner was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She is the first of two children for Sherene Earle and Courtney Codner. She was always hand-picked from the crowd due to her height which eventually shaped her into the leader she is today. She was never called to fit into the crowd but to stand out.
Angelica encountered so many challenges as a teen that could have cost her salvation and her life. There was a moment in time where she was highly depressed and suicidal. But, out of every bad situation comes forth the good. In the midst of all of this, she got saved at the age of 13 (October 8,2008) and received the holy ghost not many days hence. She has devoted her life to singing on the choir, prayer group as an intercessor and working in the youth department.
Christian Journey Ministry was established in January 2016. The founder of this ministry was going through the process of surviving the pressure. She would wake up in the middle of the night crying to God for help. She couldn’t bare the pain she was feeling on the inside. No one was physically around to comfort her. During this time, God began speaking to her so profoundly through writing. At this time, the feeling of being alone with no hope, all hell is breaking loose, people are against her birth this ministry and the book ‘Survivor 101’. Every word in that book was birth out of prayer and God’s word of direction and comfort.
This ministry is devoted to help equip, engage and empower disciples for the Kingdom of God. Our aim and our desire is to help inspire people from all works of life and revere God. She understands that thou the vision tarry, wait for it, While waiting no man should be an island no man should stand alone. The journey is not always easy but together we WIN.
