At this workshop, kids can use our Instant Cameras to take a portrait picture, then create an instant daguerreotype! What's that, you ask? Come to the workshop and find out! It won't be your typical cell phone photo! For ages 5-12.

Join Literacy Inc. for Bilingual Storytime on Thursdays starting May 16th at 10:30 AM! This event features a read-along, crafts, and light refreshments for children ages 0- 5.

Come celebrate Bronx Week with us! During this month's TEENS GET CRAFTY program, you can get inspired by print and digital images of our favorite borough, and then use our supplies to create your own artwork!

All materials will be provided, and snacks will be served.

No registration required. First come, first served. For ages 12-18.

We will meet on Friday, 5/17 at 4PM!

Join us as we celebrate Bronx Week on Saturday, May 18th at 1PM with some air-dry clay sculpture making! Let's make sculptures that represent our Bronx pride! All materials will be supplied, and artistic experience is not required.

This program will take place in person. Come join us for a course in Internet Basics. The topics that will be covered will include defining the Internet and what it could be used for, basic searching, breaking down a web address, and safety tips.

This event will take place in person on Saturday, 5/11, at 1PM. Come join us as we commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month with a screening of "Orchestrating Change". It tells the story of the only orchestra in the world created by and for people living with mental illness and those who support them.

NOW PLAYING! Acting and Theater Study for Adults! This program will take place in-person at the Kingsbridge Library. This class is designed for the beginning adult actor seeking experience and feedback. The class highlights ways to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. Attendees will work with ensemble building games, script analysis, scene study, and stage production. New York director Johnny Culver moderates the sessions. No experience is necessary.

Celebrate the end of Poetry Month with painting! For our next craft workshop for adults, we will paint our poetry. Join us on Saturday, April 27th, at 1 p.m. No artistic experience is required, and all supplies will be provided.

Finding Freedom in Spoken Word: Writing Workshop with Poet Jasmine "JRose" Rosario
Participants will join a workshop that is centered around the empowerment of writing a spoken word poem.
