Originally located on Kingsbridge Avenue, the branch then shifted to another home at 280 West 231st Street on January 23rd, 1959. Come celebrate Bronx Week with us! During this month's TEENS GET CRAFTY program, you can get inspired by print and digital images of our favorite borough, and then use our supplies to create your own artwork!

All materials will be provided, and snacks will be served.

NOW PLAYING! Acting and Theater Study for Adults! This program will take place in-person at the Kingsbridge Library. This class is designed for the beginning adult actor seeking experience and feedback. The class highlights ways to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. Attendees will work with ensemble building games, script analysis, scene study, and stage production. New York director Johnny Culver moderates the sessions. No experience is necessary.

We will meet on Saturday, May 4th at 1PM. May the force be with you.

This April, join us for writing workshops across the three boroughs, uplifting poetry of all types; free verse, form, and everything in between!

Finding Freedom in Spoken Word: Writing Workshop with Poet Jasmine "JRose" Rosario
Participants will join a workshop that is centered around the empowerment of writing a spoken word poem.

Winner of the 2023 BRIC Brooklyn Grand Slam Finals, Nuyorican Poets Cafe Slam, Rockland Poets Slam, and the Poetic Affair Slam. Host of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe Monday Night Slam at the Bowery Poetry Club. Cast member of the Poetry Brothel. Poetry Society of New York Program Committee member.
