REUNITED - Midnight is back home in Staten Island with those that love her. How she got to Crown Heights we will never know…

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED - Can anyone help us with a foster for this 9 year old girl until Saturday? She was found by a client last night and is in very good shape. She is great on a leash and seems to be housebroken (also uses wee wee pads). She barks at other dogs, but we are going to see how she does with little dogs today.

She is chipped and the rescue group has been trying to reach out to her parents without success. We don’t know what happened and are hoping that they are looking for her too.

This poor guy is still missing. Please help share his information. He can be anywhere by now.

Comfort dogs have been deployed to Uvalde, Texas, from near and far At least five organizations in and beyond the state have sent dogs to Uvalde, where they are visiting hospitals, churches and schools. Many have responded to other mass shootings across the country.

This Giving Tuesday we’re kicking off our fundraising efforts to purchase a new rescue van. Our current van, a 2005 GMC, has helped us rescue thousands of animals for well over a decade racking up almost half a million miles! From routine spay/neuter surgeries to life-saving critical care and through crisis response during trying times like Hurricane Sandy and the Covid pandemic this van was a lifeline! We’ve done our best to keep it going with routine maintenance like tune-ups and oil changes and general repairs but age is catching up with it. Repairing the heating and air conditioning systems has become routine. These repairs are costly and are draining our budget. The built-in cages are also in rough shape from daily use and cleaning over the years. We’re not able to use all of them because some are broken beyond repair and are no longer safe for our animals to be transported in. Please help us reach our goal of $40,000 to purchase a new rescue transport van, no donation is too small, every donation makes a difference. Please share and help spread the word!
