Join us Saturday, October 14th for this hands-on program and live out your childhood dream job! Youβll get exclusive early access before the Central Park Zoo opens to the public. Participants will meet zookeepers and get hands-on with animal caretaking activities. Youβll even get to meet small ambassador animals. Be prepared to get messy! Teachers, join us at the New York Aquarium on Election Day and earn 6 CTLE hours! In this in-person CTLE workshop designed for middle and high school teachers, we will explore the development of the New York seascape for offshore wind energy and the efforts to ensure this new project benefits everyone. Aquarium exhibit explorations, engaging hands on activities, and an introduction to resources to use in the classroom will all be a part of this exciting program. Course cost is only $50.

Thanks, Disney, for helping make magical memories at the Bronx Zoo! WCS is grateful to Disney for their support of the Science for ALL initiative and Community Family Days at the Bronx Zoo this past year. Science for ALL provides classroom workshops for students at Title 1 schools in the Bronx. Community Family Days invite these students to bring their families to the Bronx Zoo for a VIP, educator-led experience. This school year, thanks to Disneyβs support, these programs have connected over 400 students, teachers and families with hands-on experiences related to wildlife conservation and the STEM fields at the Bronx Zoo.
