The Long Island City Community Boathouse is an all volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to kayaking We have no "regular hours".
Our public program activities are FREE, but we accept donations to allow us to operate. Rather, find our events are listed on our Calendar - http://www.licboathouse.org/calendar/

Our Story
Free, all volunteer, community boathouse on the Queens waterfront. We take out thousands on the waters of NYC every year since 2005!

While we do host corporate/organizational events, but we are not a boat chartering company we also don’t have equipment for rent.
We paddle the waterways in a fleet which consists of mostly bright yellow sit on top kayaks. Often we resemble a fruit bowl filled with bananas as we "raft" together to enjoy a swift-running current up the river or downstream.
We want to take you out on the water with us.
