Tithing was a law in the Old Testament in which the Israelites gave tithes to the Levitical priests.

Proverbs 10:4 - "Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth."

Proverbs 14:23-25
23 All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. 24 The wealth of the wise is their crown, but the folly of fools yields folly. 25 A truthful witness saves lives, but a false witness is deceitful.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-14 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need

I do what Jesus calls us to do
Heal the sick, pray for others, deliverance, and help the poor.
