“Chop It Up Session” CPT Men’s Ministry January 2024

Calling all men ! Come out and join us for our first men’s session of the year. Bring your brother , bring your friend. This Saturday ! You don’t want to miss it .

There is a tremendous power when we walk in the power & light of God’s Word. His word performs a constant cleaning to our mortal bodies transforming them into spiritual bodies. In the name of Jesus Christ we decree & declare the power of cleansing over our lives. Amen.

God is looking for people who would stand in the gap. Those willing to do this are called intercessors. These are people who are willing to lay before the Lord on behalf of others. In the name of Jesus Christ we decree & declare power over our lives to stand in the gap. Amen.

Be willing to stand against the devil. Make the effort to resist sin and God will be with you to strengthen you. He will never let you face temptation or demonic influences alone. In the name of Jesus Christ we decree & declare the power to resist evil spirits that come up against us. Amen.

Our thought lives as Christians is incredibly important, because our thoughts fuel our actions. Our minds must be renewed by the grace of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and our ernest submission to them.

Instead of our minds being polluted think on those things that are lovely, pure, commendable, & worthy of praise. In the name of Jesus Christ we decree & declare blessings & favor on our thinking, amen.

The Lord has ordained work, whether we are working on a secular job or for the kingdom, He requires the best from us. If we are not in motion then we are not working, so let’s stay in motion with God & His ordained plan for our lives. We decree & declare blessings & favor over our work.

Know this: Satan always hates what God loves. God loves the family. He established the marriage of a man & woman as a physical representation of his love for the church and the church’s love for him. In the name of Jesus we decree & declare blessings & favor over our marriages & families, amen.

DAY 5: BLESSINGS AND FAVOR ON OUR MARRIAGES & FAMILIES

Devotion: Exodus 20:12 "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you."

It has been said that a family can survive without a nation, but a nation cannot survive without the family. God established the family by bringing a man and a woman together in marriage. Then came children and grandchildren. That is His order.

The Bible tells us, however, that in the last days there will be an attack on the family. One of the signs of the end times will be a lack of respect for one's parents.

We read in 2 Timothy 3:1-2 "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy..."

We have certainly lost sight of God's commandment to "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you" (Exodus 20:12). Notice the commandment is to honor your father and mother--not honor your father and father, or your mother and mother, or your mother and her live-in lover or partner. We tamper with God's order at our own peril.

Know this: Satan always hates what God loves. God loves the family. He established the marriage of a man and woman as a physical representation of His love for the church and the church's love for Him. God effectively says, “You want to know how much I love my people? Look at the way that Christian man loves his wife. You want to know how much My people love Me? Look at the way that Christian woman loves her husband. This is my model. This is my example for all of you to observe.

Therefore it should come as no surprise that the devil would try to undermine the family. (Harvest Ministries)

DAY 4: BLESSINGS AND FAVOR ON OUR FAITH

Devotion: Everyone has faith. You have the faith to believe that when you flick the switch that the lights will come on. You also have the faith to believe that when you turn the doorknob, the door is going to open. Christians and non-Christians alike have that kind of faith. However, not everyone has the faith to believe in God.

Hebrews 11:6 says: "Without faith it is impossible to please God," because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He re wards those who earnestly seek Him. Here we see three elements of faith that please God: (1) we must believe that He exists; (2) we must believe that He rewards; and (3) we must believe that He rewards those who seek Him.

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that faith is, "being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” It is the confidence that things yet unseen will happen as God said they would. It involves accepting God's perspective even when we don't see it or understand it.
