20 Cornelia St. A new Chinese-inspired New York restaurant by the team behind @littletongnyc.
TODAY’S THE DAY! You may have heard that we're opening a sister restaurant next door, .
But before we get there, we're having one giant party (cafe) for a month. Both to benefit and , but also to have a reason for all of us to celebrate our community and each other.
So come see us at starting today until June 18! 18 Cornelia St., Wednesday through Sunday 8am-3pm.
Food and coffee by all of the
wonderful people and restaurants above. *Pecking House chicken only available on week one, unless otherwise noted!*
Mostly Sabrevois with a little St. Pepin, American Wine Project’s first-ever rosé is full of complex pome flavors, and feels like an entire orchard of juicy red fruit. And it's from Wisconsin. Come see us to learn more and taste some of our crazy cool American wines!
Chinese Caesar with pickled garlic and sesame crispies is what rainy day dreams are made of.
Chilled reds are the best! We love our collection of them, which includes the super yummy Slipper Sippers Nouveau from !
Oh the magic of print! When reviewed us in 2020, it was among the first of his “pandemic reviews” that eliminated the longstanding system of giving restaurants starred ratings. It was certainly an apposite move for the time, and he was kind and generous both in visits and in writing, but it was also a quick transition in format that left us a little unsure, particularly with how the public would perceive it relative to other reviews that utilized the former system.
So, to be surprised by this week’s publication, three years later, has been thrilling and affirming that we’re doing *something* right in serving our community. And none of what we do would be possible without the hard work and thoughtfulness of our team, both past and present. You know who you are! We’re so honored to be in such great company of incredible establishments around the city, and we only hope to be able to uphold the appointment of being “the city’s most compelling modern interpreter of Chinese cuisine.”
So, THANK YOU! To , to our team, and to our guests and supporters, who have made our once quixotic dreams a reality.
We’d say sharing is caring but this could also be interpreted as a brawl for full possession 🤷🏻♀️ Whichever way you see it, there’s always more of our Chili Garlic Prawn Gratin to go around.
Jarad Hadi from is going to be doing a guest sommelier spot here on Thursday from 5:30-7:30! Come by and have him pour you some fun stuff by the glass.
THURSDAY! winemaker Jarad Hadi is taking over for happy hour, pouring some of his favorites by the glass. Come for one or for all! Book via Resy or link in bio!
It’s Monday! Which means we’ve got crispy pork belly baos! Smothered in furu aioli, scallion cabbage slaw, and spiced peanuts. Mondays only for a limited time, from open (5:30pm) to 86!
Unwind this weekend with some chilled red from the south! This spontaneous co-fermentation of Tempranillo and Roussanne from Texas’s Alta Marfa boasts all sorts of raspberry jolly rancher and wild mushroom. With just 36 cases in the world, “Unwined” won’t last long…
We’re sad to see this crisp cucumber and mushroom salad go, but pumped about its successor joining the menu next week!
Ever had wine made from Thompson Seedless? We hadn’t either, until winemaker Mike Lucia came along: “Always fun to make this wine because I get to play with different varieties and ferment them in a manner that’s more.... ‘what if?’Hi I fermented everything on skin for texture and color. Cab rosé? Why not. I’ve never made one before, so I was curious. Cinsault? Oh hells yeah. Always one of my favorite grapes for rosé. I also found some Thomson Seedless that was a gamble, but actually works! Never in my life would I believe I’d work with Thompson Seedless outside of a grocery store.”A second label of Rootdown Wine Cellar by Mike Lucia, "Es Okay" is lighthearted in spirit and full of Northern California character. Mike is constantly having fun making decisions that he "shouldn’t" make, and always playing with “What if?”
The glazed and charred Cippollini onion is the unsung hero of our 🤤 Mongolian strip. over here urging you to grab it before our winter menu goes into hibernation next week!
“I don’t want to drink Cab or Pinot from the East Coast just because you can make it happen. What if wine was just your local agricultural beverage? I want to support local agriculture and use as organically grown fruit as possible. I’m not opposed to vinifera, but I am opposed to growing it here by any means necessary. There’s a lot of room to explore what varieties grow well here.” — Camuna Cellars co-founder and winemaker Eli Nadav-Silins, whose “City Glou” Chambourcin here hails from the Outer Coastal Plains of New Jersey. Earthy and delicious, it’s, as far as we know, the first natural domestic kosher wine, and there are only 45 cases of it in the world. 🍷
Cheers and a huge thank-you to for the visit and the kindest of words in ! “I couldn't stop coming back for bites of this vegetarian rice cake dish at Silver Apricot, one of the most exciting restaurants in Manhattan’s West Village right now.” 🥂🍾🙏
The sad news is that these are leaving the menu soon, so come and get ‘em — but the good news is that spring rice cakes are coming! Stay tuned 😋
Last week to get our cauliflower & truffle dumplings as we bid farewell to truffle season! 🥲🥲🥲
