Learn to Swim : NYC Parks Knowing how to swim prevents drowning and improves your health, fitness, and safety. To help teach New Yorkers to swim, NYC Parks is offering swimming lessons for people of all ages at our indoor pools.

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone. We will be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Our weekly new volunteer Orientation will be on Sunday at 11 AM. Please ask for Kedrin. See you on the water.

Come join us on Governors Island tomorrow Saturday for free kayaking 11am-3:30. No reservation needed. 

We have a new volunteer meeting tomorrow, Sunday, at 11 AM. Please arrive no later than 11 and ask for Kedrin. Our volunteers must be fully vaccinated and show proof.

Fun, Fit and Free in NYC Joelle Garguilo teams up with Christine Bibbo Herr to explore ways to stay fit for free.

Did you know that you can kayak for free on the Hudson on Wednesday without any reservations? We will be open on Wednesday From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, the last boat goes out at 7 PM. Come join us!

We ALWAYS have walk up spots! Very limited reservations released each week are intended for people who may have limited time or are coming from far away. Reservations for this weekend available at www.downtownboathouse.org. If you don’t snag a spot just walk up for
