We have some thrilling news to share! That’s right—at long last, The Independent Cafe is now offering delivery! We’ve been a bit apprehensive about this step because we care deeply about making certain our food arrives at your doorstep just as fresh as if you picked it up yourself.

To that end, we are super excited to partner with Relay to provide our delivery services. Relay is a local company known for the speed and professionalism of its couriers, and our test deliveries have proven this to be 100% true.

Partnering with Relay also allows us to accept delivery orders directly through our existing online store, avoiding the menu price markups often associated with third-party delivery apps. Plus, Relay offers an extensive delivery zone (https://geojson.io/ =data:text/x-url,https%3A%2F%2Frelay-exports-public-prod.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fdelivery-zones%2Ftheindependent62nd.json) , that should cover most of our guests, ensuring you can enjoy our delicious food wherever you are.

Starting this week, from the mind of the incomparable Nona Hendryx, comes a brand-new experience that pushes the boundaries of art and technology. A Lincoln Center commission and part of Summer for the City, The Dream Machine Experience (https://lincolncenter.org/series/summer-for-the-city/s/The%20Dream%20Machine%20Experience) will be coming to The Atrium.

Here at TIC, we're so excited to see how this innovative and futuristic experience will transform our space for the next month, and we hope our guests will share in our enthusiam for this FREE and exciting exhibition!

The Independent Cafe is pleased to offer normal hours during The Dream Machine Experience, with minor adjustments due to event logistics as follows:

Tuesday 6/4: OPEN 2:00pm to 7:00pm
Friday 6/7: OPEN 9:00am to 4:00pm
