Now available in the gallery and online, a stunning pair of Nakashima tiered end tables with tapered legs, alongside a rare Bertoia tree sculpture in frame, and a set of 3 modernist prints in striking black and white. Enquire today at [email protected] or send us a DM for more info and pricing!
While Lost City Arts is widely known for our elevated collection of Bertoia and Nakashima, there is always something new to discover. Take these three mid-century ceramic pieces. They are a perfect complement to a high collection, or a standalone object of desire. DM or email today to enquire – they can be in your room tomorrow!
This is one of a series of patinated welded bronze sculptures that Bertoia did in the 1960s and 1970s. His work almost always has an organic quality to it and this piece is an excellent example.
Natural materials are used everywhere – but nowhere quite as soulfully as in a Nakashima piece. This Kornblut cabinet features the natural drama of natural fissures with two rosewood-applied butterflies on the side. The perfect combination of nature and nurture – and it is available for purchase today in our NYDC gallery.
