What about abuse? Many children, elderly and spouses are in abusive relationships and are afraid to and or ashamed to tell anyone. Don't lose your life over it, CRY OUT. Tell a trusted person what you are going through. I say trusted because there are so many malicious people out there that will do nothing but gossip about what you are going through. Do speak to someone that can offer constructive help like counselling or therapy that would stop the abuse or depression. Look out for signs in youth that they are afraid to go to school and do something about it. Let's save a life Beloved! God bless you!

Mother Earth is Addressing Food Disparities in Southeast Queens!
In the Southside of Queens, a grammy nominated artist Kasha Mann, CEO of Ahsak , a USDA certified organic makeup line, is working with Dr Lord Marcelle, a doctor of naturopathy and CEO Mother Earth Juice Bar Café to put on a farmers market to end health disparities in BIPOC.
On the South side there are always health disparities, said Dr. Lord Marcelle. Black Indigenous and People of Color are dying at a faster rate than Caucasians in suburban communities. These deaths are usually from diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer. All of these ailments can be prevented by a change of diet. Fresh vegetables, grain, fruits, more water and exercise can add to the lives of people dealing with these ailments. Instead, ‘in the hood’ South side, there are lots of fried chicken restaurants, fast foods, pizza shops and a saturation of delis or corner stores. Studies show that these types of foods elevate blood pressure and are unhealthy for diabetics and people dealing with inflammatory ailments such as diabetes. Cancer patients are not benefiting either from these types of food choices.
The farmers market on Sutphin will feature farms selling organic produce such as veggies, brown eggs, seeded watermelon, freshly baked goods, organic make up, juices, salads smoothies, tonics from Mother Earth, soaps, teas, juice, sea moss smoothies, sea moss gel and more. EBT will be accepted as well as cash, credit/debit cards and senior centers and all people suffering from ailments are welcomed! Every Friday, there will be blood pressure check ups and help to change diet and live longer, happier and healthier lives.
The market will kickoff on July 12 from 10 am to 3 pm on Fridays and will be in front of Mother Earth Juice Bar and Inspire NY Wellness Center at 115-42 Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica NY 11434. For vending opportunities and to register a group please email [email protected].
