Father's Day might have passed, but Affirming Fatherhood is this Friday!

Hosted by the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), Fatherhood participants, partner agencies, community stakeholders, and the general public come together and bring awareness to and affirm the role of fathers through parenting.

This convening is an excellent chance for fathers and father figures to gain insight and inspiration from interactive workshops designed to assist fathers of any race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background to become involved, responsible, and committed dads within their communities to making them a safe place. There are also opportunities to connect in workshops with fatherhood leaders and share resources and best practices. Find more information at the flyer!

They got together and explored the FIT Museum, visited the animation project areas, and enjoyed the organic dye garden on the roof. The President's deputy team greeted our group and provided such an inspiring and enriching experience for our kids! 🌟🎨🍽️
