Our store on Canal Street is Merz b. Schwanen’s second – a proud sibling to our Berlin flagship. Taking cues from the ever-measured pace of our original Swabian loopwheelers, Merz b. Schwanen moves with purpose and patience. Our presence in New York has been a long time in the making. The unrushed realization of a decades-old dream belonging to founders Peter and Gitta designers and aficionados of quality and craftsmanship. Long before the pair breathed new life into Merz b. Schwanen, Peter and Gitta envisioned a store in New York.

And so it feels beautifully serendipitous, a stitch of fate that finds us here, ready to share our sustainable, high-quality basics with old friends and new ones.
