If ur turkey isn’t already in a brine…. You’re already failing …. But it’s not to late…. put that turkey in a brine … you’re family will appreciate it lol…
Chef Kev’s Brine :
1 gallon water
2c salt
1c sugar
4 sprigs thyme
4 sprigs of rosemary
3 large lemons (peel zest and juice into water leave lemons and zest in)
1/2 c honey
6 Black peppercorns
Method :
Add all ingredients bring to a boil… let cool completely and submerge turkey for atleast 24 hours.
Once it’s out the brine dry it and add your seasonings … remember to place butter under the skin and place some herbs in the cavity …
