On a quiet Sunday afternoon, guarding my design research library are two buddies Sachi and Kemba.

There are several ways one can incorporate trees into interior. If the scale, texture and color chosen properly, composition will organically extend into nature, bringing the outdoors inside. Here we have a hybrid AL generated interior that is quite unique and stylish. Personally, my favorite details are in its overall height and low laying soft furniture. Reference to multiple suns is also intriguing.

One of my neighbors took this shot of Bald Eagle dismantling a large rabbit a few yards away from my house. It is not uncommon to see wild turkeys on our sidewalks, great horned owls on our roofs, gators in our lake, hummingbirds congregating on bonsai blooms and a bobcats in our backyards! Would rather see these predators than deal with true sharks of the high-paced business life in a big city.

Gothic arches look framed by air and light, forming an extension to nature. Constructed in 1988, Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel was designed by Euine Fay Jones and Maurice Jennings. It is located in Bella Vista, Arkansas. I would classify it as late American post-modernism with Gothic revival. Wonderful architectural work with some simple and yet sophisticated details. Simple symmetry in natural setting.
