Kotobuki Manhattan

Take some time to enjoy some of life's simple luxuries at Kotobuki.

Dear Friends,

Some of you may have already heard the news that our building is going away! Kotobuki in the East Village will be forced to move to a new location. Our new space has not been finalized but fear not, we’re not leaving you high and dry. Everyone will still be able to order delivery through our website and various delivery apps. One of the benefits of our dine-in services on temporary hiatus is that we’ll be able to focus on servicing a larger delivery area than before. Our new hours will be Mon-Fri 12:00-2:30pm, 4:30-9:00pm and Sat-Sun 4:30-9:00pm.

We’ve stayed in our current location for as long as possible but it’s time to move on. But we won’t go far! The East Village has been our home, community and family. Kotobuki will be back with the same high quality food and ambiance that you’ve come to expect and enjoy. We plan on bringing exciting new menu items that are destined to become some of your favorites. We’re excited for this time and plan on using it to grow with our East Village community for years to come. We love it here just as much as you do!

Please share this news with friends, family and anyone that loves Kotobuki.

Check out our website at kotobukirestaurants.com to stay updated. Or follow us on Instagram () or Facebook (kotobukinyc).

As always, thank you for your continued support.
-Your Kotobuki Family

We would like to notify everyone that Kotobuki is now exclusively partnering with Doordash for deliveries and will be phasing out other delivery platforms. If ordering from Kotobuki Mahattan, customers will have the option to use Caviar OR Doordash. We hope this change will allow us to maximize the personal attention given to the food we prepare and the customers we serve. Thank you everyone for your continued patronage and we look forward to having you dine with us.

Kotobuki Manhattan will be taking the required steps to resume indoor dining at 25% capacity on September 30th. Similar to our LI locations, we're taking extra precautions (as required by NYS and NYC) to protect our staff and diners. As a friendly reminder, NYS/NYC guidance requires patrons to wear a mask at all times except when seated. When the time comes, we will also be using Yelp Waitlists. We welcome you to join us.

Come Sept 30, we also plan to resume our regular hours, open 7 days a week, lunch and dinner service Mon-Fri with dinner only on Sat and Sun. Take-out and delivery will continue as usual.

We will continue to post updates on our social media accounts and our website. Thank you all for your support.

Our typical April 1st traditions will have to take a backseat to more pressing matters but despite our shared hardships, we hope everyone can find opportunities to share moments of levity and spread good humor to those they care about. It’s important, especially now.

We're working through this cat-astrophe right meow. Sorry for the bad pun, but we really are working hard. We're working on improving everyone's experience with take-out and delivery. Thank you for your patience.

We’ve updated our website with all our delivery options (www.kotobukirestaurants.com). The link to our website is in our profile. The online delivery page has everything laid out nice and neat. Just tap or click on your preferred delivery service.

If you’re picking up take-out, it’s still best to call in your orders.

We’re still moving along, doing what we can. Hope everyone is hanging in there. We’ll post all announcements to our website, instagram and pages.

Quick announcement. If you know people that frequent the Hauppauge and Roslyn Kotobuki locations, please let them know that both Kotobuki Hauppauge and Roslyn now have delivery options. Doordash is currently online and we’ll be on Ubereats in the next few days!

Manhattan is currently taking orders directly over the phone, Chownow, Caviar, Ubereats, Postmates, and Grubhub.

First of all, thank you for your patience while we organize ourselves to serve you better.

Today, let’s post something a little more lighthearted. During this time of social distancing and self-quarantine, we felt this might be a relatable feeling for some.

Like or comment if you would like to learn other Japanese phrases such as, “that’s strange, my belt feels a little tighter than usual.”

Dear Friends of Kotobuki,

Please be advised that starting this week, we are temporarily suspending lunch service at all Kotobuki locations and will be focusing on take-out (all Kotobuki restaurants) and delivery (Babylon and NYC) for DINNER ONLY. Kotobuki locations that were open on Mondays will follow the new schedule and close on Monday. All Kotobuki restaurants will be taking orders from Tuesday through Sunday, 4:30PM to 9:00PM.

For our latest announcements, please follow our instagram () or the page of your local Kotobuki. We will be posting updates to all of them.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we are truly appreciative of all the support we’ve received from our customers. Stay safe and be well.
