Puerto Plata could be out of curfew by the end of July

SILVER PORT.- At the end of this month Puerto Plata Province would be excluded from restrictions maintained by the Government by the COVID-19 pandemic if more than 177,000 people who already have a first dose apply the second one.

This Saturday, the Executive Power reported that it was set out that both the National District and the provinces where at least 70 percent of their population received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, will be considered for curfew lifting.

Indeed, provincial director of Health, Jhonny Tavárez, said that if citizens who have the first dose come to the centers throughout July, 80 % of the population of the ′′ Atlantic Bride ′′ will count with the second one.
