National Scandal: NYC Sketch Comedy Team -- Versatile, Seasoned Pros
National Scandal is one of New York City’s most versatile, established sketch comedy teams appearing regularly at The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) and sketch festivals across the country. The members also have performed at iconic comedy clubs, such as the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, Carolines and Hollywood Improv in Los Angeles. National Scandal has earned critical praise for its smart, observational, often satirical, always original sketches that defy ordinary labels. The seasoned cast, which includes Jenifer Bloodsworth, Jonathan Desley, Josh Krebs, Sarah Nowak and Meghan O’Malley, recently celebrated its seventh anniversary. Critics have praised the troupe calling them “talented and hilarious.” Podcast host Iliana Inoncencio, said, “They are the cool kids you wish you could’ve hung out with in high school.”
