Today, we salute the wonderful Bill Irwin and the team of ON BECKETT as they take the stage one final time this evening. Yesterday marked 100 performances of ON BECKETT on tour, and we’re so thrilled to be included in that number with this run.
Thank you to our friend Bill for his incredible artistry and generosity and to Octopus Theatricals for being such wonderful partners on this project.
In the words of Samuel Beckett, “You must go on. I can't go on. I'll go on.”

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of legendary writer Edna O’Brien and wish to extend our condolences to her family and friends. She was awarded for her writing many times during her life, including the Bob Hughes Lifetime Achievement Award, the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award, and the Irish PEN award. She has been credited with breaking silence and giving voice to women on social matters in Ireland. Irish Rep was truly honored to have worked with Edna on the American Premiere of her play Triptych in 2004.

Irish Rep is deeply saddened to learn of the death of our friend, Irish broadcaster Adrian Flannelly. We express our deepest condolences to his wife, Aine, family, and friends. Adrian has been a supporter of ours since the very early days of Irish Rep and even served on our Board of Directors.
Alongside his legendary work as a Broadcaster, he was a driving force behind Irish community efforts, particularly around immigration reform. He was vital in securing ground and constructing the Irish Hunger Memorial in Lower Manhattan. The memorial includes stone and vegetation from Flannelly's home village of Attymass in County Mayo.
We will miss him dearly. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam
