Tori loves chocolate, nutella, and oreos, so I thought to make a chocolate cake with Nutella buttercream and some OREO cookie crumbs in between each layer! 🤤

Used my favorite Satin Ice for the fondant decorations! 😊

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 中秋節快樂! Throwback to these snowskin mille crepe mooncakes I made a few years ago. My family's been asking when I'll make them again but it's so time consuming. I never got a chance to make them again. 😅 It definitely was a hit! Wishing everyone a wonderful celebration with family! 🥮🌑🐇 🎑🏮

The yellow one was mango crepes with mango, coconut cream and fresh mangos slices. The pink one was strawberry crepes with strawberry and cream with fresh strawberries. The green one is matcha crepes with matcha cream and red bean filling.

The snowskin was a recipe that I followed from 's book "Modern Asian Baking". It has so many awesome recipes! Check it out!

My favorite set of cookies! I give so much props to cookie artists. They inspire me! Cookie decorating is no joke. My back and neck always aches after decorating them. Stretches in between are so important! Seriously, applauding cookie bakers out there! 💕💕💕

Been MIA lately but it's the last day of school today!!! They celebrated summer birthdays and Cassidy wanted to make chocolate covered pretzels for her class. She said, "Let's add my favorite colored sprinkles and edible gold flakes so that my classmates think they're real gold!" 😂 The class was so excited and thought it was 24k gold haha Cutest kids! Glad she got to celebrate with her classmates! Have a great summer everyone! 🎉🥳💕

It was an honor to make a cake for Hong Kong singer and actress JW Joey Wong! Cassidy sang JW's song 4 years ago and she actually got to meet her! So happy to be able to make my kid's dreams come true!

Thank you so much for making this dream happen JW! You're seriously such a beautiful, talented, and humble artist! We love you! 💕

Cassidy insisted to help and be a part of the cake process. 🥰 The cake was JW's fave red velvet with cream cheese buttercream. The colors of the cake was inspired by her outfit that she wore in the TVB series, "Your Highness". Cassie and I had many good laughs watching it and we can't wait for part 2! I also made JW's doggie, Casey, pronounced the same as Cassie! What a coincidence right?! I also made fondant roses to match her outfit as well. It was also my first time making a stencil cake and had a ton of fun making it with Cassie.

Also, a huge thank you to JW's manager Carmen for making this meet happen. We appreciate you and the team! We're so shocked we got to meet Kayee Tam 譚嘉儀 and Kwan Gor 坤哥 too! They were the other singers that sang along with JW. We felt so special going backstage as VIP's! lol We are super grateful for this amazing experience Carmen! ❤️

My awesome Grandfather turned 90 yesterday! For this special milestone, I made him a surprise money cake with his favorite cards and poker chips because he loves to play "13 Cards". The fam play cards with him occasionally, and let me tell you, Grandfather's still a pro! The cake also consists of his faves sponge cake and fruits, especially pineapples! Everyone spoiled him with love! Happy 90th Birthday Grandfather! 🥳🎂🎉

The Chinese character "寿" means longevity. The peaches, "shou tao" also wishes long and healthy life. The colors red and gold are auspicious colors. Money coming out of the cake represents forever wealth. There's 18 bills, and 8 is a good luck number in Chinese, which means good fortune. All the wonderful things for my Grandfather! ❤️

Throwback to these Fa Gao (發粿) that I made. Fa Gao, also known as Fortune Cake, is a cupcake-like dessert that is made and eaten during Chinese New Year to bring prosperity and good fortune. A blossoming top, also called "smiles" are what everyone wants to achieve to bring good luck and wealth for the new year. The more "smiles", the more fortune it brings!

I spent quality time with my mom as she taught me how to make Fa Gao. That was my first time making Fa Gao and I must say, it blossomed better than I expected! Chinese New Year isn't just about the delicious food, lion dances and red envelopes. It's about spending time with your loved ones and creating memories with them. 💕
