It was a privilege and honor to do the invocation at BP Vanessa L. Gibson raising of the Puerto Rico flag at the Bronx County Courthouse. Thank you for The correct and original shade of blue of the original PR flag. It was well attended, the music was perfect. The song Preciosa sounded awesome. Thank you.
Ephesians 6:1-3
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with a promise: “that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.”
In today’s passage, the apostle Paul encourages us to respect, listen to, and obey our mother and father. He also reminds us that God promises if we do so, He will bless us abundantly.Jesus didn’t just give Paul words of instruction; He gave him words of experience as well. Among Jesus’ last words were those expressing concern that His mother would be cared for after He was gone (John 19:26-27).When you love Jesus with a deep and sincere love, treating your parents as we’ve been commanded to do will be second nature. When you are close to Jesus, you will be a person who brings your mother, father, and God a great sense of pride and joy.The Bible is clear: if our parents are at odds with God’s teaching, honoring God must always come first. However, honoring our parents is a God-given blessing. Honoring your parents is to honor God as well.

Bronx Clergy Task Force beginnings:
Sunday Feb 4 marks 25 years since one of the most tragic police shooting deaths in city history.
* Four white police officers fired 41 shots at Amadou Diallo, an unarmed African immigrant who came to New York to go to college and achieve the American dream
* Shortly after midnight, on Feb. 4, 1999, Diallo, 23, was standing in the doorway of his own home when officers from the NYPD’s Street Crime Unit rolled up in an unmarked car…
* You can read the whole story on your social/news media.
This was the beginning of the Bronx Clergy Task Force with Rev. Hermes Caraballo (RIP) Rev. Birkett, Rev Raymond Rivera. Today the BCTF (Bronx Clergy Task Force) under the leadership of CEO Bishop Angelo M Rosario with his wife Bishop Nancy Rosario has become a non partisan Interfaith Organization that speaks to the different needs of our community and religious organizations. Seeking to find global peace and unity with all.
Although similar incidents are still existing today, we will not give up the peace initiatives to bring balance between Law Enforcement and communities. Amadou’s name lives on…
54 scholarships to NY students have been given by his mother who began the Amadou Diallo scholarship fund.
In addition the NY Peace Building Commission has been formed
to recruit 85,000 Peace Building Commissioners.
Our city is in dire need of our Creator’s Intervention with the violence, homelessness, hate crimes prevalent in our communities. This is a city wide initiative Peacebuilding campaign. The spokesperson and founder of NYPC is Sheik Musa Drammeh of African descent and VP of Bronx Clergy Task Force. (See FB page New York Peacebuilding Commission). Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

There is teaching that is “of the world” and not from God. Not everything you are taught will be truth and you have a responsibility to sort out the truth from the lies. The Holy Spirit is with you. The training to be godly is a life-long journey. You must learn how to be both driven by Christ's example and how to rest in Him. Through our training we further surrender to Christ. Physical training is of value because your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit – after all, we are made in the image of God. The gain from that effort however, is a mere shadow compared to godliness.
A most blessed and happy birthday to my son Jamel Brigante Delrio. You made me a Mom.
