Wonderful! Check out current student Chris Goosby on the NYC Rescue Mission page!
Today's goes out to Chris! Chris created a project called 'Artist As Humanitarians' over the summer of 2016, and uses it bring together fellow students with hearts for our neighbors in need:
"While entering my graduating year at The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, I took the initiative to gather a group of students each month to volunteer. The amazing time we have with each other at the Mission is special. Giving your time to somebody else and sharing your love with other people can change someone's life forever. As actors we have the ability to inspire humanity on stage and in the streets. With the partnership of the New York City Rescue Mission we will continue to inspire and uplift the people in our community."
Congratulations Chris, you are our and we have been so blessed to have you and your friends serve in our house!
