2023 was yet another very busy year for cool releases from Scotland: from the ever-changing 19-year-old Ardbeg 'Traigh Bhan' to the Dalmore 2008 select edition, and other beauties in between, such as the special release of Glenkinchie, a 27-year-old at cask strength, the Compass Box limited edition 'Art & Decadence', a promising super-premium blended Scotch; or the latest of the Orphan Barrel series from Diageo with a 14-year-old expression of Teaninich, and to complete the picture, the yearly release of the luscious Macallan Rare Cask!

This tasting session aims to cover the various elements of what makes a Scotch whisky great: besides the essential characteristics of being flawless and representative of the distillery flavor profile, there are other crucial points to consider, such as the rate of distillation, the conditions presiding over its maturation, and clearly, the dedication of the men and women checking on these barrels, amongst other things...

These 6 whiskies will be preceded by a light cocktail and typical Scottish fare. About 2 hours long.
