October is my favorite month of the year, in large part because art challenges are a thing. It is so awesome to see everyone participate in different prompt lists and produce some amazing art. I love the chaos of having something to create every single day and truly think this is when I make the best work. I would like to thank .gleason for making the awesome prompt list I followed. I had so much fun coming up with all the characters for Season of the Bad Guys Club this year.

Bad Guy 30: Ghost

I don’t know if I’m done with this one. I did want it to be hazy and undone to make it seem more ghostly, but now maybe I want to add a little more detail. The specters are basically all that’s left of the essence of a person, and this feels like it can have more character.

Disembodied skulls also like to have fun.

You can look but don’t you dare touch. This lady means business.

Bad Guy 25: The Bad Guy
I had to dig deep for this prompt, even got a little bit philosophical, trying to decide what would constitute a bad guy. I realized anybody could be bad sometimes, and one of the worst qualities of a bad person is being deceitful in a malicious way. Better watch your back with this one.

Bad Guy 24: Poison Punk
Don’t cross this venomous creature unless you are ready to thrash.

Bad Guy 23: Solar Scum
Don’t let his warm demeanor fool you, he is a cold mf. When he is distant you yearn for him to come back, and when he is close you wish you can rip off your skin. There is almost never a happy medium with this one.

Bad Guy 22: Wizard
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with this guy. I was trying to make it silly but instead got this serious alchemist alchemizing. What is he seeing in that green ball?

Bad Guy 21: Prick
We draw at dawn!

Bad Guy 20: Alley Kat
This kitty was caught blue handed. How can such an adorable face do a bad thing? He stands by his statement “I didn’t do nothing!”

Bad Guy 19: Kryptid
Just a working worm on his way to work.

Bad Guy 18: Jail Bird
Does a caged pigeon sing? Do pigeons sing when they are free?

Bad Guy 17: Invisible man
He may not be visible, but he dresses his Sunday best when he goes out to get some coffee.

October is the best month for fun so excuse me while I fall slightly behind again. But also, I love seeing a series all together.

They will be available for sale once I glaze them and they might come in a frame too, if I figure out how to make a mold.

Bad Guy 16: Moon Goon
This henchman doesn’t mess around even when things get messy. The Moon Goon does his job methodically but not without a measure of respect.

Bad Guy 15: Haunted Tree
This guy has familiars to do his bidding. When you hear someone gently rapping at your door and the next thing you notice something croaking “Nevermore” — you will know to keep on running forever more.

Bad Guy 14: Block Head
This heard headed lady will not back down. Even now as she reclines she is putting together a plan to seek revenge.

Bad Guy 13: Kaiju Kreep
Don’t get in the way of this royal.

Bad Guy 12: Pest
Did I feel physically sick while painting this? Yes. I had to look up some references, and I wish I hadn’t. It’s bad enough when the water bugs pe*****te my house but to stare at their exoskeleton for hours has been slightly traumatic. The things I do for instagram art challenges.
