ENDGBV and The Passage, a UK-based homelessness organization, are working together to better understand the experiences of trafficking survivors through your perspectives and expertise. 🟠 GO ORANGE DAY is the third day of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, and across New York City, orange lights emanated from City Hall and other NYC landmarks to show support for survivors and raise awareness about ending gender-based violence (GBV). GBV includes intimate partner and family violence, elder abuse, sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking.

HELP IS AVAILABLE:
-Call 311 to be connected to the nearest NYC Family Justice Center (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

-Find resources and support in NYC by searching the City's NYC Hope Resource Directory.

-Call the city's 24-hour Domestic Violence Hotline: 800-621-HOPE (4673) for immediate safety planning, shelter assistance, and other resources.

Gender-based violence (GBV) can affect anyone, regardless of age, ethnicity/race, faith, gender identity or expression, immigration status, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. On this day, we wear orange to stand with survivors and show our dedication to ending all forms of GBV everywhere.
