We envision a future in which Midtown, Manhattan is the hub of the underground music scene where opportunities for aspiring musicians are limitless. The creative potentiality for a DIY venue in Midtown is infinite. Midtown will reclaim the trendy music scene from Brooklyn and reestablish itself in the heart of New York City attracting students and young professionals as well as members of the recorded music industry. The demands of audiences who are under the age of 21 as well as the demands of audiences who are unwillingly to travel to Brooklyn in order to access new music and artists will be fulfilled. The Crowne Royal will serve as the foundation of the new music hub created in Midtown. Due to the presence of label executives and promoters, our venue will be seen as an innovator or a stepping-stone to enter into the music industry. Artists will seek to play our venue as a means to attain a record deal and due to our personal relationship with the artists, there will remain a desire to come back and showcase new music at The Crowne Royal.
