How to make our Banana Vegan doughnuts even better? Upcycling! We pick up overripe bananas (which are perfect for baking!) every day from our friends at FoodKick and use them to create our Banana Vegan doughnut! Less waste, tastes even better. 100% vegan.

National Doughnut Day is Friday, June 1, and we're celebrating with a special doughnut and announcement.
With a purchase on Friday, we'll be giving away a special Grand Central mini cake doughnut at our NYC shops. It's inspired by the constellation mural on the ceiling of Grand Central's main hall. A naturally-colored cerulean blue glaze with tiny gold stars!

Known to many as the pioneer of the “artisanal doughnut”, Doughnut Plant is an independent New York City-based bakery created by Mark Isreal in 1994. From our humble beginnings in Mark’s Lower East Side apartment to our more recent locations, Doughnut Plant handcrafts original and innovative doughnuts built upon Mark’s grandfather’s recipe.
