😱 As performers, there's always a fear that something will go terribly awry onstage. But what if there's nothing to worry about, and we don't need to distance ourselves from those mishaps?
TBG teaching artist Tricia Alexandro invites us to consider what would happen if we "Don't Make it Wrong" and simply incorporate the messy parts.
❓What's the biggest potential flub that's turned into an opportunity for you?
Read the blog at https://www.barrowgroup.org/tricia-alexandro-dont-make-it-wrong/ and catch Tricia in Triptych, running 11/8-24 at TBG!

"I feel the greatest connection with my character, Blanche, through her humor and her grief...There's a sarcasm, and an unwillingness to be flowery or sentimental...The humor is straight to the point and there's never not a time when humor is appropriate. Everything, every situation is worthy of a joke."

"I write when I get mad about something. I'm mad about how we handle grief and the grieving in this culture...I fear people might think that the play is grim, but it's the opposite of that. It's funny and joyful. And sad too, yes, But alive."
- John Yearley, Triptych Playwright

Mark Woollett has worked administratively with The Barrow Group for more than ten years. Previously, however, he acted and directed professionally in more than 50 productions, including 21 of Shakespeare's 37 plays. For nearly ten years, he was in residence at Shakespeare & Company in the Berkshires working as a teacher, producer, and administrator as well as acting in seventeen productions.
He also served as the Artistic Director for Advice To The Players: a cute little Shakespeare company nestled in the shadow of the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Memorably, Mark and his wife, Candace Clift, co-directed Romeo and Juliet at the Ho Chi Minh City School of Theater and Film – in Vietnamese.
Once upon a time, he graduated from Lewis & Clark College with degrees in Theatre Arts and Mathematics and spent two years teaching in Namibia with the United States Peace Corps.
