The EPVFD is a Bronx based Volunteer Fire Department established in 1922 in the Edgewater Park community.
The EPVFD is a 501(c)3 charitable organization whose mission is to protect the lives and property of the residents of Edgewater Park. The Departments motto is "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" as it is a 100% volunteer organization and one of 9 remaining VFD's still operating in New York City.
Exciting Announcement: New Custom Rally B.R.A.T.® 500 Initial Attack Truck Coming to Edgewater Park Volunteer Fire Department!
We are thrilled to announce that the Edgewater Park Volunteer Fire Department will soon be receiving a state-of-the-art Rally B.R.A.T.® 500 Initial Attack Truck, custom-built to meet the unique needs of our community. This advanced piece of apparatus is expected to be delivered in the 4th quarter of 2024.
The acquisition of this much-needed truck has been made possible through the generous support of Assemblyman Michael Benedetto. His dedication to enhancing public safety and supporting our local heroes has made a significant impact, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for his commitment to our community.
The Rally B.R.A.T.® 500 is designed to provide exceptional performance and reliability, ensuring that our firefighters are equipped with the best tools to protect and serve. This addition will greatly enhance our department's ability to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies.
