Notoriously-the under eyes tend to be a sensitive area that requires special treatment along with a skilled injector, of course. Here at Aristocrat PS we use Juvéderm Volbella XC to improve the appearance and add some volume to the tear troughs.
Initially, Volbella was approved by the FDA in 2016 for lip augmentation and filling the fine lines around the lips. Currently, it has been approved for the infraorbital hollows.
Volbella is different from other fillers because of its vycross technology. It has low hydrophilicity and doesn’t attract water molecules.
Its lifespan is around 12 months and only a conservative amount is needed for the tear trough area.
