*RPZ Installtion*

Newly installed this 3” Wilkins 375 Backflow.

*Backflow Installation*

Domestic and Fire Suppression backflow installation this past week. Domestic shutdown failed due to broken gate valve. Isolated supply in street and replaced with new epoxy coated valve. 4” Copper through with press fittings and 4” Victaulic serving fire suppression. All work was prefabbed which allowed the customer to lose water supply for less than 2 hours.

*Header Leak*

This customer’s gas service was shut down due to a leak found during inspection. Due to the location of the leak, it is considered a Task 87 repair. Header replacement, new supports and pipe identification for this 4 meter header. Header was pressurized and tested. Utility has been notified and the gas service should be restored in the next few days.

*Boiler Installation*

Installed a new Burnham SteamMax boiler this week with an A.O. Smith 75 gallon water heater. This home is undergoing a full renovation, new steam lines, plumbing etc. few more weeks out until we are fully tied in and ready for commissioning.

*Ice Machine*

Installed this beast of an ice machine for our friends at Bar Boy. Unit has two inline filters, gravity drainage, and a built in cleaning feature. The best.

*Clogged Return Line*

Arrived at this customers home and found the front section of home not heating, rear of home was normal. Isolated the return line at the boiler and end of main. We were able to clear the blockage to allow the condensate to make its way back to the boiler, as well as a new end of main vent. Restored the system and heated up almost immediately.

*Water Heater *

50 Gallon A.O Smith replacement. Removed the push connect fittings 🤦🏻‍♂️ and got the new unit up and running in no time.

*Got Roots?*

YIKES! This customer has some severe root intrusion to their main sewer line. While there is no major break in the line currently, we do end up clearing these roots out quarterly until they’re prepared for a new main installation.

*Roof Drains*

Some additional roof drains we added on this warehouse. Roof was suffering from improper pitch and general deterioration.

*Holby Valve Rebuilds*

A few weeks back we were tasked with repairing some mixing valves. Inconsistent water temperature and poor operation lead to rebuilds on 2 Holby mixing valves. Take a look at the intervals.

*Booster Pump*

Our customer called us and stated that pump #2 on this duplex system was leaking and corroding externally. After attempting to isolate the pump (failing to do so), it was decided to replace all Victaulic butterfly and check valves. Victaulic products made this an extremely fast, secure, and long lasting replacement in addition to being able to have the pump removed for rebuild.

*Steam Leak*

Quick little steam leak repair this morning with new radiator valve and air vent.

*Boiler Replacement*

A clean and textbook installation of this Burnham IN-7 by our team. The previous boiler made it several decades before ultimately failing. New header rebuilt properly and completed in one day.

*Steam Boiler*

Burnham IN-5 boiler replacement for this customer. This unit has a basement hydronic loop for heating as well. We first installed this boiler 17 years ago, we’re grateful to have this longtime customer.

*Pool Heater Gas Line*

Gas service upgrade for this customer. Added a 400,000 BTU pool heater. Roughed in and waiting for inspection

*Gas Repipe*

Gas service was locked off by utility due to leaks found during inspection. Repipe to the roof units serving this commercial space.

*Extension Service*

Our customer located a leak on their high pressure extension service. We were able to work in conjunction with the utility and rectify the issue without any major interruption to service.

*Chiller Line*

Unfortunately on this job the original installers used imported piping which is notorious for poor QC. This 6” line has suffered serveral leaks over the years. This repair required welding a grooved ni**le and continued our piping in victaulic to reconnect at a previous repair which was also completed using victauilc.

*Oil to Gas Conversion*

Our team removed this original steam boiler with coil and replaced with this Williamson boiler in addition to a new AO Smith water heater. Pulled a new stainless steel chimney liner as well, with new gas line !

*Drip Pan*

We recently removed this aluminum drip pan which has been in use far past its life expectancy. The pan was leaking onto elevator equipment which created a hazardous situation. Replaced with a copper pan and re routed the drain for proper operation.

*Fire Main*

Back to the parking lot! We previously made a repair on a broken fire main 2 years ago. Unfortunately another section of pipe was deteriorated as well as a leaking hydrant and isolation valve. We replaced the hydrant and isolation valve in addition to ductile iron piping.

*Sprinkler Main*

This corroded 8” sprinkler main was hit yet another forklift!!! Fortunately the line maintained integrity and only had a small drip. Repair made with Victaulic fittings and Schedule 40!

*Backflow*

New 3” fire service backflow device being installed!
